ONE SOURCE PEACE OF MIND SERVICE

Hudson is a one source contractor to supervise and coordinate all your maintenance, grounds and custodial activities.  All employees are with one company. Hiring, firing, and discipline are handled by the Facility Manager or Supervisor and the company, removing the customer out of the human resource hassles.  It is difficult to staff and schedule with part-time day or evening personnel, and is why we prefer to hire full-time personnel.  The flexibility required to alter work schedules due to the requirements of the customer or school and its events is next to impossible with part-time staffing.  Turnover is extremely high with part-time secondary job employees. Our average full-time employee has been with the company over 7 years and close to 40% are over 10 years of service.  They have the option of participating in our employer contributed Health Insurance, Dental and Vision Plans.  The longevity of our employees means they are accountable and possess a sense of pride and ownership in their work. All work history, criminal, and child abuse backgrounds are thoroughly investigated and job references are checked prior to hiring.  The Facility manager, supervisor, grounds/maintenance and custodians all work on the same team. All manpower activities are coordinated by one person. The flexibility to change work schedules as required to fulfill the expectations and needs of the customer is at a premium. Off days (or breaks) allow all workers to be under supervision during the day hours performing cleaning or maintenance tasks as required.
